Ah, maybe Sylas was still scared of him after all. That made sense, really, from what he heard about his projection's content from Suzune, though it was also possible that Sylas was simply a jumpy person in general.
Vincent gives a nod, regardless. Doing obviously better than Vincent himself was at least Some level of baseline, and he doesn't really care about any impoliteness of that fact.
"That's… good, and it's alright." He admittedly pauses after that, processing the fact that the question was turned back on him. How to even answer that? Hm. "…About as to be expected, with the Unforgiven ruling. There's no need to worry for me."
This was a Punishment, after all, which was certainly both what he deserved and had explicitly asked for for his ruling back at the beginning in front of everyone. Thus, he was dealing with it. It'd be hardly fair for him to complain about it now. And of course, how he was doing with the whole Murder thing in general was… ahah.
But, back to what he had actually approached Sylas for, as Vincent takes a moment to stand up straight again, catching himself folding inward a bit and correcting it. This also makes him look his full 6'4" height again, of course, but what can you do.
"I heard from Ms. Gikou and Ellie what events transpired in my projection, and hadn't spoken to you yet. So I wanted to apologize, for what you were put through within it. Though may not have been… consciously my doing, I still injured and tormented you within it."
