"Performance…?" An odd turn of phrase from Nobuko. She frowned, tilting her head. It was as if Nobuko saw prison as being a job, or something like that. What… an odd way to view things, even if not that inaccurate for real-world prisons. This place was different than a real prison. They weren't being required to work for keep. "Um… Well, I'm not sure if there's a specific performance they're expecting. That's… kind of one of the reasons I'm like… surprised that all the wardens are missing. I feel like it'd, um… be nice to hear their thoughts about why they voted the ways they did, and such." Alongside checking in on their general well-being, she really wanted to pick their brains a bit on the 'why'. "But really, I'm happy to help out! It's the least I can do, when everyone's going through so much."
And Shiori, well… Shiori seemed even MORE out of it. "Sweetie, I could never ask for something like that when you're both going through so much. Maybe I can, like… get you both something nice to drink, and we can chat a bit? Unwind, a little. Um… What kinds of warm drinks do you like? I'm a fan of pretty much, like, any kind of tea, or warm milk with honey." Keeping the place clean was already a challenge enough while lacking the proper tools, imagining these two trying to do that while handcuffed together honestly made her feel a little guilty.

"If anything, maybe dealing with the restraints might be a good excuse to relax, hm?" She didn't know too much about them yet, really, but viewing this as a job wouldn't do either of them any good, now, would it? Healing and redemption should be something people do for themselves, not because they have to. Maybe she could spoil them a little, if only for a moment?
… Plus, making drinks wasn't cooking. She solidly knew how to make good teas just fine, she wouldn't fuck that much up.
