And Suzune nearly zoned out. What a realistic vision. Her breath hitched, but not enough that she was fully out of it. She grasped her head, turned her attention to Akemi, she’s soaked with rain. Suzune grasped her first aid kit, clutching it to her chest to keep it closed during the torrent of wind and rain. To wake up dry, within the projection room, shaking as if she were a wet dog, herself. No residual cold of the water clinging to her skin, but her instincts told her to shake anyway. “Ah– Bow-Wow-san, I, I’m sorry it’s–” But he was gone.
Well… She took Akemi’s hand to get herself up. “Thanks,” she whispered, nodding as Akemi walked out.
She breathed out, and looked over to the wardens with a sad smile. “I know it’s not entirely up to you, since you’re just fulfilling the role you were given, but… Sometimes I, like… Wonder a little how necessary any of this is, when a forgiven verdict for everybody would really… make a difference in the lives of those here for the better. Everybody deserves a chance to change for the better, and some people need some sympathy more than anything else.” She glanced away, thinking. “Do you think you’d get in trouble for that? A forgiven for everybody? … I know it’s not my choice to make, but I hope you’ll at least consider it. Thanks for listening.”
She bowed respectfully to all of them before quietly excusing herself from the room.
