Having just escaped their cell upon the discovery that all the doors were unlocked, the Yoshida sisters may have conquered one obstacle, but they were still faced with another. They were still bound together by the wrist, and though they were often tied at the hip anyway even without being quite literally handcuffed to one another, having their dominant hands restricted was sure to be an annoyance in the long term.
And so, Shiori was, at present, struggling to separate the buckled belt connecting her to Nobuko at the behest of her sister's instructions, of course. But try as she might, the chauffeur just can't seem to break the chain, despite the buckle itself looking exceedingly ordinary. Was the buckle glued shut or something? As she hears footsteps approach them, she looks up, silently watching the man as he peers into their cell. Upon him turning around and muttering, her response is swift.

"You are excused." Wow, she sure took that comment literally, huh? As soon as the words leave her mouth, it occurs to her that perhaps this stranger could be of some help in solving their dilemma. She glances sidelong at Nobuko, silently waiting for her to direct this encounter whichever way she sees fit. Sister knows best.
