You seem to be able to interact with the bag normally, though the figure has no response to you handling it. It’s a small bag, not very full and devoid of grease stains. It’s pretty light to pick up.
Inside is some amount of crumpled paper, but beneath some of that is—something. All you can feel is something warm, plasticky, and cylindrical.
Trying to actually look inside, all you can make out is a blinding light, as if a strong flashlight is aimed straight at you. Changing the angle you look at it, squinting, or putting some of the paper back on top doesn’t help.
Time drags on before the figure finally closes their book and slowly starts down the path back to where they came. Regardless of your best attempts to score some lunch, the paper bag is somehow left under the bench.
The figure casts one glance back, but nothing has changed. They hunch and continue on their way. They’ve vanished into the fog before a dark, glitching person looms at the edge of the other side. The playback ends, and you’re back inside the phone, the app already closed. Its icon is now too glitched to select.
Oh, soup again.
And, speaking of again—
A setting-like popup interrupts you with the message “IT’S HAPPENING AGAIN.” The only options below are “Help” and “OK.” The former is greyed out and doesn’t appear to be selectable.
