Akemi would not have been able to sleep in this tent, had she not just spent several hours hiking. She feels utterly terrible upon awaking once more. The sight and smell of blood leaves Akemi frozen, briefly. She expected it, and prepared for it, but it's always difficult to face in 'reality.'
Just who are the wolves and who are the sheep, in this story?
She does feel a slight relief upon seeing Suzune awaken, seemingly unharmed and unbothered.
"….it was a long and exhausting hike. I had never been camping before…it is not an experience I am keen to repeat, if I am honest. But, we are unharmed." She glances at Sylas, anticipating a much less calm response to the sheep carnage. "I am, at least."
Somehow a night in a tent, even a fake night, made her terrible cot seem inviting.
"I am going to go rest. If you would like to speak later on what we saw, you are free to come find me."
With that, she turns and departs. She has a lot to think about.
