The projection fades, and the room around you loses its icy chill. The brambles recede, any injuries or pain inflicted become little more than a memory.
Akemi wakes slowly at first, regarding Suzune's presence with a groggy haze.
"Krasner…?"
She blinks a few times, but she is quick to remember where she is and what has happened. She sits up, painfully aware of the horrid and vulnerable position she had been in, and equally aware that everyone's eyes seem to be on her.
Her eyes shift from warden to warden, before locking onto the inmates who had deigned to explore, or perhaps invade, her mind. For a moment, you swear you can see that cold you experienced in the projection physically course through her as she regains her composure. Her expression shifts-- from the vague alarm and worry over her position, to the enforced and stony determination you are far more used to.
"I…see. I…am merely tired. I…think I will need a few moments by myself."
She responds carefully.
It isn't immediately clear to you what she thinks of the fact that you are here, nor is it clear if she even wants to know what you saw. Perhaps a later conversation is warranted. Then again, perhaps she wants to be left alone. What you do with what you saw is solely your decision.
She does not utter a word while she awaits her release, regardless of whether she is addressed or not. Once she is properly released, she shakily gets on her feet. She straightens out her jacket, adjusts her hair, and slowly and silently walks out of the room without sparing anyone another glance. Despite it all, her posture remains as proud as ever.
