With the panopticon sealed and the courtroom and kitchen following suit, you’re beginning to wonder exactly how small this prison is going to get before the wardens return. If they return at all. How much do you really care? You’ll suffer with them, you’ll suffer without them. Frankly, the lack of food is a bit more pressing.

But it seems all the issues are solved in one fell swoop. The panopticon remains locked, of course, but the kitchen and courtroom reopen a few days after the fire, somewhat repaired but still scorched and smelling of smoke.

On the same day, all three wardens burst from their room in short order, seeming disoriented and a bit off-balance physically to boot. Ei marches off to give the whole prison a once-over, while Sie stops to check on the prisoners as they go. A lot of good that does now.

Bea, meanwhile, takes a slower, quieter tour of the place. Observing the traces of carnage—on the walls, on your faces. But whatever she may see, she doesn’t seem compelled to help. Instead she just claps her hands together once.

“All right, everyone! Time for your next round of projections! I can’t wait to see what you all have for us this time.”

…At least someone is excited.
