Robert had been the last person you saw the wardens take into the courtroom for a projection, right? He'd shown himself plenty capable of pitching a fit before, but...

Something was different this time, though it was difficult to pin down what, exactly. Maybe it was his voice, which even at its most aggressive had had a melodic waver to it, that now vanished into a growl. Maybe it was the way he carried himself, that made him look an inch or two taller than normal...

Or maybe, you saw as you got closer, it was the fact that he had one of the wardens in a near chokehold, pinned against the side of the projection chair.
