Akemi has been keeping a loose eye on who was entering the projection room, and when. She had, after all, given her word to several people that she would at least try to make an appearance, to offer her insights, or at least to ensure that certain people receive detailed recounts of what had occurred.
She had missed Andrew’s, unfortunately, but managed to keep at least two of the other promises she had made. Perhaps she could still keep one more.
So, when she sees Vincent being led toward the room with a warden in tow, she hovers nearby to see just who else was intending to follow.
Ah.
A horrible pair, for anyone who wants a cohesive summary of anything and anyone who values any kind of order. Moreover, a horrible pair for her to be cooperative with. She slows her steps a little, considering just how worth dealing with Tatsuko of all people would be in all of this.
She did not have very much time to weigh her options. In a rare, to her, show of good grace, she determined that Vincent was worth the irritation. He had been kind to her, and he had gone out of his way for nearly all of their benefit. She could return the favor, this once.
On hearing Vincent’s warning, Akemi simply offers a firm nod, hoping to reaffirm her resolve to him. She sees little reason to offer any words, nor even a look, to Tatsuko, though she does cast a somewhat more conflicted glance toward Kaoru. Later, she decides. Not now.
As they arrive in the new space, she looks around with a certain lack of familiarity. Church, it seems, particularly these…less-artistic churches…are not something she has very much experience with. She had studied Rose Windows, baroque sculptures, icons, but that seemed scarcely present in here.
Even so, she finds herself drawn to these decorations first, as sparse as they may be.
